My name is Shelly Davis, I grew up in Chicago and have lived in Evanston for over 10 years.
After graduating from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2010, I spent many years as an educator working with children and their families. A little over 5 years ago, I decided to make a career shift and embrace the “computer nerd” I had wanted to be as a little kid. Growing up in the 80s, girls like me weren’t encouraged to be part of architecture, engineering, or computer science, even if it was something we loved doing.
Now that I have graduated from my year-long Cybersecurity certificate program from the University of Chicago, I look forward to putting my training in Hacking and Defensive Programming, Programming Fundamentals, and Database, Networks, and Forensics together with my educator spirit and great sense of humor to work for you.
My priority is ensuring clients understand and can optimize the full use of the technology they’ve invested in. People want solutions, and I’m committed to delivering them.
